I'm excited to present you this sample based instrumental album. I named it Benten - the goddess of everything that flows: water, time, words, speech, eloquence, music and knowledge.

I've spent months researching. From listening to all kinds of Japanese music, to playing video games, and watching Animes and movies from different eras. The result of it is what I call Samurai Funk Beats — a combination of the most captivating and intriguing samples I found in all of the above media.

It was a rocky journey to find these samples and mix them in a way that underlines their power and hardiness. I had to climb the highest mountain, bribe angry priests and steal a demon possessed Katana. It was this very Katana that lent me its mighty powers so I could slice, chop and deconstruct that sound material to create something wonderfully new.

I hope that you will feel the love and courage of these sound tracks. Just the way I did, when I put them together. Happy listening.
